Following our fellow business leaders, we at Michael Verity Photography want to share how we’re responding to the current public health situation.
First and foremost: please take good care of yourself and your family. We encourage you to follow the advice of the World Health Organization and “Do The Five.”
How We’re Insuring Your Health and Safety
In addition to “Doing The Five” ourselves, we’re doing the following at our studio to insure everyone’s health and safety:
1. All shoots are being done outside. We have 11 awesome acres at our studio — and 100 acres of land next door - and we’re taking advantage of every one of them!
2. We're approaching all sessions as “location shoots” to minimize the amount of time spent indoors choosing wardrobe, changing clothes, etc.
3. Restrooms are, of course, available during outdoor sessions at our studio. They are being disinfected before and after each shoot.
4. Hair and makeup service is suspended for the next 30 days to adhere to social distancing guidelines. On set adjustments to hair and makeup are being done by the talent (or, in the case of children, by their parent).
5. As much as possible, wardrobe styling is being done virtually. Rather than picking out wardrobe on set, we're styling via text or email.
6. We’re adhering to the World Health Organization’s guidelines by practicing social distancing during our time together. We’re postponing our usual hugs, handshakes and high fives until later this spring. :)

What Happens Next?
HEADSHOTS:
To minimize the number of people at our studio at one time, our Headshot Days are on hiatus. Instead, we’ll be offering one-on-one headshot sessions throughout the month of April at the Headshot Day rate.
PORTFOLIOS:
As with our April Headshot Day, we’re postponing our April Portfolio Mini-Session (Fun & Fashion) to minimize the number of people at our studio at one time. We'll be scheduling one-on-one portfolio sessions, at a discount, throughout the month of April.
