We always work with the goal of being open and present and spontaneous when we're shooting portraits. Herein one of our favorite models, Carson, shows us some beautiful results.

Today's featured image is of a young man we've known since he was just a pup, since about 3rd grade, we're guessing. Lincoln has grown to be a fine young man with a future as an entrepreneur. Knowing how many inventions he's created -- and subsequently exploded -- he'll probably invent the next iPhone or Angry Birds. It was an honor to be chosen as his senior portrait photographer.

We had the pleasure of shooting both Josiah and his Mom, Tammi, a couple of weeks ago. They're both actors and models and two of the nicest people we've met. We're doing the final editing of his portfolio (and listening to the new album by Jason Isbell, we might add) so we thought we'd share a great shot of Josiah.
